Please be informed nameserver and IP migration will be proceed on 26-FEB-2010 at 22.00PM Malaysia Standard Time GMT8+.

You must have full backup for all your webfile, email and MSSQL & MYSQL Dbs because once we migrate all IP, your domain will be working on new server if you not restore all your webfile, email and Dbs,  your website will be empty and you will not receive any email from your domain.

If you have a backup, you can restore all your backup at new server at link as below :

Login name to new server same as your account but password already change. Please contact us for new password

Hi, Linux Client..

We were having issues with an aggregate switch that was effecting a portion of our Linux Server and therefore needed to be replaced.

We have done so and all services have fully restored.

20. Web File or Database Backup Policy
It is the clients responsibility to do all back ups of their site . If, in the unfortunate event that something happens to your files, it is your responsibility to have a local copy of them. EFAIZENT Network ( Mylabuan Hosting ) is NOT held liable in any way for any files, money, time, effort, etc. lost due to this unfortunate event. Furthermore, if your files are lost, we will attempt to restore them as a gesture of good faith, but make no promises whatsoever about whether the files will be brought back successfully or not. Again, back ups are the client's responsibility.

We advise all client must always keep their own backup for all file or dbs.

In some cases we have to move all client account to new server without any notice.. because we have to act as fast as we can to restore all client account.

[MySQL Upgrade]

Dear All Client,

Due to current security issues and the PHP development team announces that support for PHP 4 will discontinue after 2007.

After 31 December 2007 there will be no more new release for PHP 4.4.x. we are going to migrate PHP4 to PHP5 very soon on Linux server but at a meantime PHP4 will be available until 31-Jan-2008.

Our migration schedule will be on 01-Feb-2008.

MySQL Upgrade

In addition to the PHP upgrade, we will also upgrade all our MySQL servers from the existing version 4.x to version 5.0.x.

What Should I do?

As the upgrade is a major version change, we would strongly advice all our clients to ensure any of the custom written applications running on our servers is fully compatible with MySQL 5.0.x and PHP 5.2.x by referring to your in-house/outsource webmaster or programmer.
